Effective tutoring is an ongoing process of mutual dedication and practice from both the tutor and the student.  Sarah will provide the educational expertise, professional guidance, and enthusiasm to ensure the student has all they need to succeed.

If your child needs enrichment, remediation, or assistance with their academics, Sarah is a certified teacher and administrator and can proctor tests/exams, provide tutoring services, or assist with test preparation or in other ways, such that you have an amazing family vacation and decrease the stress involved in having your child keep up/get ahead with school work!

Sarah and David's passion is working with children, and helping them reach their full potential! Be aware, however, that her enthusiasm, excitement, and smile are contagious!

Sarah's qualifications include:
  • Four years as a Catholic school principal
  • 30+ years as a teacher and/or tutor for pre-school through high school.  Specialties include:
    • ​Language Arts (Reading, Writing, Spelling, English grammar)
    • Mathematics through Algebra II
    • Working with special needs: ADD, ADHD, Dyslexia, Autism Spectrum, Anxiety, and other students
    • Working with gifted students who are seeking to be challenged or prepare for more advanced classes
 
David's qualifications include:
  • MBA in Technology and Service Management
  • 25+ years in corporate management
  • Tutor Elementary, Middle, and High School Math for 20 years.
  • Incredible passionate to help kids understand and thrive with math!

Tutoring Subjects Available:
Pre-K through 8th grade: all subjects, including Gifted and Talented; specializing in Language Arts (phonics, reading comprehension, reading fluency, writing process, grammar, spelling) and Math
 
High School: Algebra I and II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Language Arts, reading, writing intervention, proofreading/editing, including Gifted and Talented. 
 
Test Prep: Private School entrance exam, SAT 10, Terranova, SSAT, PSAT, SAT, ACT, TOEFL
 
College: academic coach, proofreading/editing
 
Diagnoses: Works with students with diagnoses including, but not limited to ADD, ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, Aspergers, . . .
